Biography

Established in 2019 and included in the 2020 National Defense Authorization Act, the United States Space Force is a branch of the U.S. armed services organized under the United States Air Force. The U.S. Space Force trains personnel to protect the United States and allies in space as well as facilitate services and safety for Department of Defense, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and commercial space launches. Other roles include Department of Defense satellite operations and monitoring ballistic missle activity.
