Biographical Information
Mary Virginia Spitler Hammond was born in Rensselaer, Indiana on March 12, 1947.Hammond was a elected as one of ten member's on the Board of Lady Commissioners to represent Indiana at the World's Columbian Exhibition in Chicago. She died at her home in Lafayette, Indiana on January 17, 1927.
