Biographical Information

Fred W. Billerbeck, Jr., was born in Chicago in 1928. He earned a Ph.D. in Food Science from Purdue University in 1959, after first serving in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He married Barbara Aust Billerbeck in 1961 and the couple contributed to several charitable organizations throughout their lives.
