"Commander, Exercises command authority over Patrick AFB, Cape Canaveral AFS, Jonathan Dickinson Missile Tracking Annex, and two downrange tracking stations on Antigua (UK) and Ascension Island (UK). "Directs the operations and maintenance of ESMC to support DOD and NASA missile and manned and unmanned space programs. Manages a work force of over 1,000 military, 1,100 civilians and 6,400 contractor personnel. Exercises procurement authority up to $5M and directs contractual agreements valued in excess of $350M."
