Scope and Contents
This sub-series contains material created and collected by the Alpha Gamma Rho agricultural fraternity.
Contents include but are not limited to correspondence, the constitution, articles, and by-laws of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity, issues of Sickle & Sheaf magazine, chapter advisor materials, financial records, handbooks, programs, photographs, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, reports, and directories.
The subject areas of this sub-series include the Chapter Officers' Training School, the Deferred Rush Committee, fraternity grades, chapter house inspection, national banquets and conventions, the Sickle & Sheaf Endowment Fund, and chapter discrimination. Many of the materials were sent by, or to, Verne C. Freeman, a former Purdue College of Agriculture Dean and Alpha Gamma Rho Grand President.
