Historical Information
Jeremy Bentham was a British philosopher and social reformer closely associated with utilitarianism. Werner Stark was a sociologist, economist, author, and professor. Critical editions of Bentham's published and unpublished writings, edited by W. Stark, were published in multiple volumes by the Royal Economic Society from 1952 to 1954.
