Scope and Contents The Rita R. Colwell papers contain materials created and collected by Dr. Rita R. Colwell during her professional career as a microbiologist. Digital files includes photographs, and videos of a speech on genomics from the Ministerial Conference and Expo on Agricultural Science and Technology in 2003 and a speech given at the 2007 Inauguration Lecture for Professor Pornchai Matangkasombut, Chair Professorship at Mahidol University in Thailand.

Clippings saved by Colwell relate to her time as National Science Foundation director, cholera, and the University of Maryland and are either authored by her or mention Colwell in some aspect.
