Scope Note: Senior cords were a long-standing Purdue tradition. From 1904 until 1970, senior men bought yellow corduroy trousers and women bought yellow corduroy skirts, which they then decorated with designs that reflected their interests, majors, organizations, and humor.

The Dorothy Christoff papers (1963-1967; 0.5 cubic feet) document Christoff’s time at Purdue as an engineering student.
